IT'S OUTTA HERE: TACOMA, WA 2007

IT'S OUTTA HERE is a series of six mosaic wall panels made from porcelain, framed in steel and installed at Cheney Baseball Stadium. Roughly 150 square feet, the piece depicts the action of a baseball just hit by a bat and the movement and the power of the ball as it comes toward you. While baseball is a game with action, it is also a game of anticipation.  Will the next player get a hit? Will the ball be a home run?  Will it be a pop fly into the stands that I can catch?
